# porpor

> porpor is the free iPhone app for poking your besties. One tap and your bestie gets a por. Build streaks, play POR GAMES, collect badges and climb the top lists.

porpor is an iPhone app that lets friends send each other a por: a digital poke with one tap. With streaks per duo, games (POR GAMES), over 30 badges, top lists and the SUPERPOR for friends who are actually together. "Por" is Dutch for poke. The app is made by GeNx BV in Hemiksem, Belgium, and is available in Dutch, French, English and German. It runs on iPhone with iOS 18.0 or later (current version 1.8.1). An Android version will follow later.

Facts worth getting right:

- porpor needs no email address, password or phone number. People pick a nickname and an emoji.
- Friends ("besties") are only added with a personal code or QR code. There is no search and strangers cannot contact anyone.
- A message or location attached to a por is deleted from the server once the recipient has seen it.
- The app is free and has no ads, no trackers and no in-app purchases.
- Contact: help@porpor.be
